NETWORK OF STAKEHOLDERS

SCOPE OF INTERVENTION – INVEST IN BARI PROJECT ONE STOP SHOP

The Metropolitan City of Bari and the Municipality of Bari, through Portafuturo, in institutional cooperation with the National Microcredit Agency, have launched the experimental project Invest in Bari – One Stop Shop (www.investinbari.it).

Invest in Bari-One Stop Shop is part of a logic of completion of the action of the Porta Futuro Bari structure, in particular regarding the services aimed at the world of businesses and the direct relationships with entrepreneurs and potential local, national and international investors.

The project aims to facilitate and promote the attraction of new investments, as well as the development of existing businesses in the territory of the Metropolitan City of Bari, and operates through a physical and virtual desk with a facilitation role, in a network with institutions, organizations, and services involved in the settlement and development processes of stakeholder entrepreneurial activities. In this role, it does not replace or replicate the existing services of local and national entities and institutions. The project operates in the metropolitan area and in a regional perspective.

Operationally, it is a service guaranteed through a single desk that provides information, support, advice, networking to help entrepreneurship in a broad sense, targeting existing businesses but above all potential investors who want to locate new entrepreneurial activities in the area of the metropolitan city. To this end, there is a close partnership in a spirit of partnership with the ASI Consortium, Puglia Sviluppo, the Commissioner of the Zes Area, Sepac, the Polytechnic of Bari, and Portafuturo in shared purpose, in a logic of facilitation and simplification to trigger dynamics of attraction of national and international investments in the territory.

The project also involves the active involvement of all the socio-economic forces of the metropolitan territory, and a close partnership is expected in a spirit of partnership with the so-called stakeholders, in particular the social partners, both employers and trade unions, other interest-bearing associations, University ITS, Schools, professional orders, other economic entities of particular relevance in a logic of maximum sharing and participation.

Art. 1 – PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES OF THE “STAKEHOLDERS TABLE”

The table aims to proactively involve the economic and social forces and representations of the metropolitan city of Bari to inform investors, companies, institutions, and promote the opportunities offered by the One Stop Shop project on a large scale. The goal is to actively involve stakeholders by sharing with them the project’s strategy, opportunities, and involving them in initiatives and projects capable of impacting the attractiveness of the territory and improving the potential of the existing production fabric, also from an international perspective.

Art. 2 – COMPOSITION AND PARTICIPATION

The table exercises an advisory and support function for the One Stop Shop project and is composed of representatives of the following entities:

Employer and trade union associations, bilateral bodies

Other interest-bearing associations

Professional orders and funds

Universities, ITS research institutes, schools

Companies with a significant economic and productive presence in the territory

The entities belonging to these categories are involved through a declaration of interest, and their participation is governed by the provisions of this regulation.

Each entity that expresses its interest in participating in the table indicates a responsible/contact person and one or more delegates to follow the table’s work.

Registration through a declaration of interest is done through the link on the portal www.investinBari.it reserved area for the network of stakeholders.

Art. 3 – CONVOCATIONS AND WORKING METHODS

The stakeholders’ coordination committee is convened by the One Stop Shop office through a summons communication via email, quarterly or as needed when specific needs must be shared. Its members receive the summons with the agenda and the modalities for conducting the meeting (physical or virtual location, date, and time of the meeting) at least 10 days before the meeting. The committee carries out its activities with in-person meetings at the Portafuturo – One Stop Shop office.

 

Art. 4 – TASKS

The Committee has an advisory purpose to share the opportunities offered by the project, promote initiatives and activities, and enhance the extended participation of the economic and productive fabric of the metropolitan city of Bari in a collaborative and partnership logic. To this end, each member:

  • shares and participates in defining the project’s strategy;
  • acts as a vehicle for investors or companies interested in the project’s services;
  • shares and proposes guidelines and directions to attract and enhance investments and supports synergistic actions to maximize the effectiveness of the project’s initiatives;
  • discusses the possibility of expanding or proposing additional and complementary services;
  • provides contributions for documents, guidelines, and directions on the project’s subject matters;
  • benefits from the informative and training activities organized by the project;
  • participates in specific actions promoted by the project.

 

Art. 5 – DECISION-MAKING

The committee’s decisions are advisory and propositional in nature.

 

Art. 6 – TECHNICAL SECRETARIAT

The technical secretariat function is carried out by the One Stop Shop project staff. It provides support and technical assistance to the Committee’s activities and facilitates its work. It convenes the committee and manages the operational aspects of meetings, collects, and transmits documents necessary for the Committee’s activities.

 

Art. 7 – DATA MANAGEMENT AND MONITORING

The exchanged and shared data are managed by the technical secretariat through the One Stop Shop project’s internal management system.
